I have people asking me this question ALL THE TIME! Wondering what I think about those energy drinks that are very popular these days...
And it is hard to ignore them because the supplement manufacturers make all kinds of outrageous claims of instant energy boosters that will give you an competitive edge over your rivals.
So... are these energy drinks effective and do they really boost your energy levels? Are these energy drinks "miracle potions?" Do they help you lose weight? What are the side effects of energy drinks?
All are good questions because you should always be questioning conventional thinking... because many times they can be wrong.

But what about those energy drinks with artificial sweeteners? Well, call me crazy but it is still a man made chemical that I also believe is very harmful to your body. But don't listen to me... there are tons of people out there who will argue for and against my opinion. But the truth of the matter is this... artificial sweeteners are man made chemicals that have no business being in your body.
Another problem with the artificial sweeteners is psychological. Folks that drink this stuff may eat more calories because they were "good" and didn't drink the sugary drinks with lots of calories. wholesale bcaa they tend to eat more crappy foods without guilt.

So what is the bottom line? High fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, caffeine and expensive source of b-vitamins... all these ingredients are a recipe that puts money in the bank accounts of supplement manufacturers and puts your body and health at risk. And besides... your wallet will get lighter.
Here is what you can do instead. Make your own homemade energy drink! Brew some organic Oolong tea and mix it with berries and whey protein powder (without artificial sweetener or colors of course) and blend everything together!
